I believe the biggest decisions we make shape the lives we live. The relationships we build. The careers we pursue. The places we choose to call home. When those choices are aligned with who we truly are, life becomes more meaningful, more fulfilling, and more authentic. That belief is what drives everything I build.
I'm Sharon Novoa, an award winning entrepreneur, founder, and speaker. Over the past five years, I've founded and co founded five companies that have generated more than $40 million in revenue. Today, I'm building platforms designed to help people find alignment in the areas that shape their lives most. From meaningful relationships to fulfilling careers and a true sense of belonging, my mission is to help people make decisions that lead to lives that genuinely fit who they are. I believe success isn't just about achievement. It's about building a life that reflects your values, your purpose, and your potential.
Whether I'm building companies, speaking, or collaborating with others, my focus remains the same: helping people connect with the right people and the right opportunities to create lives they love.
The journey
The beginning
My entrepreneurial journey started long before I knew what entrepreneurship was. In high school, I would buy boxes of biscuits and sell them individually for a shilling each. It was simple, but it taught me one of my earliest lessons in business: buy well, create a margin, sell, reinvest and do it again. At the time, I was just trying to make a little money. Looking back, I was learning how business worked. That small box of biscuits was my first experience of turning an idea into income, and it sparked something in me that never really left.
The decision
In 2017, I had my first child, and motherhood completely changed the way I thought about work and the life I wanted to build. I wanted to be present. I wanted to raise my child without feeling like I had to choose between being a mum and earning an income. I also knew I wanted to do something meaningful that allowed me to serve my community. That became the reason I chose entrepreneurship. Three years later, I started my first business and created the life I had been imagining. I could be at home with my child, be a hands-on mum, serve my community and build an income at the same time. What started as a desire for flexibility became the beginning of something much bigger.
The messy middle
The part people rarely see is everything that happens between starting and succeeding. I have trusted the wrong people. I have lost more than $100,000. I have built things that did not work, changed direction, started again and failed more than once before finally getting something into the market. There have been moments when I did not know how I was going to make the next payroll, but somehow I kept going. I held onto the belief that something would shift, and somehow, something always did. That has been my messy middle. Building. Learning. Losing. Changing. Trying again. And through all of it, I have continued because there is a sense of purpose in this work that is difficult to explain. The communities we have built, the families who rely on us and the people whose lives are connected to what we do have made the hard parts worth carrying. Entrepreneurship has required me to change more than I ever expected. But I kept going anyway.
What comes next
Over the last five years, the businesses I have built have generated more than $40 million in revenue. I am proud of that achievement, but I do not see it as the destination. There is still a much bigger vision ahead. I want to empower more families who depend on the work we do. I want to reach more people who genuinely need the value we are creating. And I want to build something that lasts far beyond revenue or business growth. For me, legacy is about love, community and impact. It is about creating businesses that matter, building things that improve people's lives and leaving behind something that will still be remembered years from now. That is the vision I am chasing every day.
